After successful completion of their studies, students are awarded a degree in Accounting and Finance (Bachelor’s degree).

Graduates acquire general knowledge of Economics as well as specialisation in Accounting and Finance.

The Department of Accounting and Finance was established after the merger of two separate Departments, the Department of Financial Applications and the Department of Accounting (Government Gazette 130/5-6-2013, issue A).

During a short period of transition, for the students who graduate the Department of Accounting or the Department of Financial Applications, the new Department of Accounting and Finance confers a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Applications respectively.
